Ford Retirement Income Simulator (RIS) is a specially designed, retirement income calculator to accommodate defined benefit members of the Ford Employees and Management Super Plans, which enables you to estimate your projected super balance and how long it may last in retirement. If you have benefits in both plans, they are combined in the calculator.
The RIS provides a guide only to the amount of income you might receive in retirement. The RIS uses information you put in, assumptions we make, and assumptions and data about you and your current defined benefits inputted with your consent from the records of the Plan’s administrator, as displayed while using the RIS. Please note the RIS cannot determine or guarantee your actual final super benefit or retirement income will be as shown. Your experience to retirement is likely to differ from the assumptions made and the data and inputs used may not correctly or completely reflect your current position or benefits. As a result, this RIS and any illustration produced is a guide only and is not intended to be relied upon by you for the purpose of making a decision in relation to any financial product. This RIS has been designed to reflect provision of defined benefits to retirement. In using the RIS, you accept and consent to the RIS being automatically pre-populated with:
- your current accrued retirement benefit multiple and final average salary;
- your mandated level of contributions (member and company) that applies for your benefit category; and
- any other information needed to estimate your future defined benefits.
The calculator is designed to estimate your total retirement income, including benefits you may receive from the Age Pension and non-super investments. You can also choose to factor in super details for your spouse or partner (if applicable) and see the impact of a career break or move to part-time work on your projected super balance. This enables you to more clearly assess your estimated financial position in retirement and what you may need to do to reach your desired retirement balance.
