The LifetimePlus Calculator is intended for use by financial advisers only.
The Mercer LifetimePlus Income Simulator will allow you to:
- Determine a suitable level of investment in Mercer LifetimePlus for your clients
- Generate a data file of the investment's projections to incorporate into Statements Of Advice
This Calculator does not know the future
The Calculator cannot take into account changes in your client's personal circumstances, actual future investment returns, inflation or future changes to the Age Pension and tax regulations.
Reasonable long-term assumptions have been made
The Calculator uses default assumptions about future investment returns and inflation which are considered reasonable at the current date based on long-term economic modelling (by Mercer Investment Consulting). You can modify these assumptions.
Results are in today's dollars
Showing results in today's dollars allows your client to consider their future retirement income in the context of the cost of today's goods and services and their current standard of living.
The 'today's dollar amounts' have been calculated by deflating the projected dollar amounts based on the assumed rate of wage inflation as described on the Assumptions panel.

The projections shown in this Calculator are intended as a guide only, based on the information you input, and should not be used in isolation to make financial decisions. This Calculator does not take into account your client's personal objectives or their own financial situation and it cannot determine their actual final super benefit or income.
